A black and white holiday spectacle in Graz
In the green heart of Austria, around 60 Parksiders gathered at a beautiful Aiola castle for a black-and-white themed party. Warmed by mulled wine and punch, we enjoyed a delightful three-course festive dinner, followed by lively dancing and creating hilarious memories in our photo booth
Our CEO, Christoph Platzer, took the stage to express his gratitude for the team’s remarkable contributions throughout the year. He then introduced a unique initiative – the Parkside Awards, created by our amazing colleagues, Lisa and Dmitrii. With each award category more creative and fun than the other, individuals who embody the Parkside spirit and contribute to the vibrant office culture were recognized and celebrated.
A festive retreat full of fun and games in Porto
Our Porto team traded the office setting for a cozy two-day Christmas retreat, seeking adventure and connection. We rented a charming house for an overnight stay, setting the stage for a weekend of “togetherness” and merriment.
Our tradition of raclette-making kicked off the festivities as we gathered around the kitchen table, sharing laughter and culinary creations. Pool, foosball, ping pong, and board games ignited friendly competitions, while cocktails provided the perfect fuel for our festive spirit. Secret Santa gifts brought a touch of surprise and delight, and the crackling fireplace ensured a warm and cozy ambiance. The next day, we indulged in a delicious BBQ lunch, savoring the flavors of the season.
A Fusion of Traditions and Virtual Reality in Basel
Our Basel team embraced the spirit of the holidays with a blend of traditional gatherings and innovative experiences. We started with an afternoon aperitif, revisiting the year’s accomplishments and highlighting the team’s collective achievements.
After exchanging small gifts and welcoming a new colleague to the team, we ventured to the VR Center Basel, where we were conquering virtual challenges and experiencing the thrill of the digital realm. As the sun set, we indulged in a delightful French cuisine dinner, savoring the flavors of the season. Our evening concluded with a visit to a local bar, where we raised our glasses to the year’s successes and and celebrated the spirit of the season in true Parkside Interactive style.

Throughout our Christmas celebrations, our teams in Graz, Porto, and Basel created a shared experience of joy, “togetherness”, and creativity. Whether it was the elegance of a black and white themed party, the warmth of a cozy retreat, or the fusion of traditions with virtual reality adventures, we demonstrated our commitment to fostering a workplace that celebrates the spirit of the holidays and the people who make Parkside Interactive a unique and inspiring place to work.
