The eAward is an Austrian award founded in 1998 that recognizes and promotes the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Austria. The award is given in several categories, including sustainability, collaboration and organization, machine learning and artificial intelligence, services and processes and education and social.
Organized by the Austrian Datacenter Association (ADCA), eAward is a highly respected accolade that honors the most innovative and transformative projects in the Austrian ICT industry. This year’s competition saw a record number of entries, and our team is thrilled to have been selected as a winner.
SkinScreener is a certified medical app for a quick and easy skin cancer risk assessment. By using AI, the app scans and analyzes skin spots (moles, skin lesions or similar) with an accuracy of 95%. Our redesign – with the new app structure, a strong focus on UX writing, and the new visual design — made the app more transparent, trustworthy and user-friendly.
This achievement would not have been possible without our amazing client, medaia GmbH, and hard work and dedication of our design team, led by Sarah Loigge and Isabel Garger. Their expertise in UX/UI design and UX writing was crucial for the successful redesign and relaunch of this groundbreaking app.
